Skydd brings savings and everyday protection plans into one place. Set a goal, choose a plan, and manage everything from your account. Your savings are backed by life insurance — so if anything happens to you, your loved ones receive the full amount, not just what you’ve saved so far.

Skydd offers eight plans across savings and protection — GoalGuard, Future Scholar Fund, Income Shield, Legacy Plan, AutoGuard, Property Shield, Wellness Plan, and TravelGuard. Head to the Plans page to see what each one covers.
Yes. You can hold as many plans as you need. Each one is managed independently under My Plans, with its own certificate, payments, and claims history.
Yes, on certain plans. Wellness Family Plans let you cover a spouse, children, and additional dependants. For savings and life plans, you name a beneficiary who receives the payout if anything happens to you. You can update beneficiary details anytime from your account.
It depends on the plan and level of cover you choose. Some start as low as ₦2,000 for a single trip (TravelGuard) or ₦5,000/year for home contents cover. Use the Get a Quote button on any plan to see your exact premium before committing.
Your premium is automatically debited from your Skydd Wallet on your payment date. You can fund your Wallet via bank transfer or debit card. Depending on the plan, you can pay monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annually.
Go to My Plans, select the relevant plan, and tap Make a Claim. Upload the required documents and our team will be in touch within 2 business days. You’ll receive updates at every stage via push notification and email.
If a policyholder has passed away, a family member can report the death from the login screen — no account access needed.
All certificates and documents are accessible from your plan detail screen. Your temporary certificate is issued immediately after payment; your final certificate follows within 48 hours.
We’ll notify you and retry the payment automatically. You have a 30-day grace period before your cover is affected. If the policy lapses, you can reinstate it within 90 days by clearing the outstanding amount. After 90 days, the policy is cancelled.
